Holography

Holography

Definition:

A three-dimensional photographic process. A hologram is formed by the constructive interference of two waves which produce a complex pattern of points surrounded by concentric circles (holes inside holes) on film. Hence the word. An amazing characteristic of the hologram is that the informational pattern is spread equally over the entire surface. Consequently any part of the hologram can reproduce the entire image (though with reduced clarity).
