Pineal Gland

Pineal Gland

Definition:

The physiological function of this gland relates to the regulation of various bodily activities. However, it is also a very important metaphysical centre and may be likened to a transformer which steps down the extremely high spiritual frequencies, so they may be sensed on the material plane. In the vast majority of people this gland does not fulfill its metaphysical functions and a lengthy course of exercises is necessary to awaken its potential, otherwise it remains in a dormant state. The physical functioning of the pineal and its place in the physiological economy may be ascertained by consulting any standard work on anatomy where it may be under the heading of Endocrine Glands.
