Samhain

Definition:

Keltic Festival known to Culdians by its most ancient name of Elvid. In the Southern Atmosphere it marks the beginning of the new year. The day following Halloween and sometimes referred to as ‘the day between years’. It was part of the Old Culdees religious calendar, but for the Revived Culdians it has a specific significance insofar as it was the day they were introduced to Gwineva, their Spirit Teacher. It is in that sense it is now celebrated.
