Chance

An essential element in earthly conditions, but pure chance is relatively rare, as chance can be influenced by the intrusion of mind.  A coin tossed in the air will, by the laws of chance, fall on either side an equal number of times.  However, if influenced by mind it may fall more on one side than on the other.  Sometimes necessary, chance is not something to be passively accepted and it should be eliminated as much as possible.  (See Luck.)
