Religion

The body of institutionalized expressions of sacred beliefs, observances and practices found within a given cultural context. Culdians are tolerant of all religions, believing their diversity to be dictated by the diversity of human needs. If the purpose of religion was to serve God, there would be need for only one religion which would serve all men equally well. However, as its purpose is to serve men and not God, diversity is called for, just as there must be diversity of teachings in schools and colleges. Culdians do not seek to convert anyone, for they are well aware that their philosophy is not compatible with the needs of everyone. Those who seek converts as a boost to their own spiritual inadequacies serve the convert ill, for they are not concerned what is best for him or her. Culdians offer compatible companionship to those seeking a path towards higher knowledge and expanded consciousness, those prepared to dedicate themselves to the quest for Truth.
